Sean Chew
Hello!
I'm an Urban Planning graduate student at Columbia University with concentrations in Urban Analytics and Built Environment. So far, I've worked with the New York City Mayor's Office of Climate and Environmental Justice as a GIS Intern, and I'll be using those skills at the Federal Transit Authority as a data scientist student trainee.
Before grad school, I worked in the energy industry as an energy analyst for The Brattle Group. Some of my previous work included using alternative resource adequacy structures to promote more green energy in Maryland, New Jersey, and DC. Previously, I worked as a power systems engineer at Eaton Corporation, designed solar systems at Hannah Solar LLC, and studied Math/Econ and Electrical engineering at Emory and Georgia Tech. My hope is to use my knowledge of urbanism and technology to improve people's lives.
A copy of my CV is here.
